From comedy to cabaret, visual arts to long lunches, motion pictures and a race day at the Turf Club; Glitter has something for everyone with a mixture of both ticketed and free events.
In addition to shows and performances there are also a number of opportunities for the community to express themselves and genuinely get involved in the delivery of the festival.
Glitter Festival Artistic Director Brad Rush told myGC, the event is set to be huge.
“We have a program of about 17 or 18 performances, and that’s great quality cabaret, comedy, theatre and music. We also have an events calendar, with about 8 or 9 different things,” he said.
“The pride run is going to be a great event also if you are up for a 5 kilometre, walk, run or high-heel dash.”
As for why Gold Coasters should lock Glitter Festival into their calendars, Brad said: “It’s going to be sparkly, shiny, and fabulous.”
