MOTORISTS heading home from Brisbane are facing lengthy delays following a truck crash on the M1.
It’s understood two trucks collided in the southbound lanes of the motorway near Exit 38 at Stapylton.
The crash has triggered extensive delays for commuters heading back to the Coast from Brisbane.

Southbound lanes of the M1 were gridlocked for 30 kilometres at the time of writing, with multiple accidents along the stretch between Eight Mile Plains and the northern Gold Coast.
Motorists on the Logan Motorway are also being held up as they try and merge onto the M1, with delays stretching back to Kingston Road.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area wherever possible.
