The Gold Coast is in for some pretty cold nights this weekend, as an icy blasts hits us from down south.
Temps are expected to get down to four degrees tonight, dropping further to just three degrees overnight on Sunday.
While the temperatures will already get quite low, they’re set to feel even colder due to a combination of strong winds and low humidity.

Adam Blazak from the Bureau of Meteorology told myGC cool conditions are likely to hang around until mid next week.
“There’s a fairly deep low pressure system in the Tasman sea, and over in Western Australia a fairly large high pressure system.
“In between those two systems we get a good squeeze on, and it pushes those winds up from the south.
“Those two systems have set up camp for a few days, so it’s just this constant cool flow pushing over the state, so not only is it cool it’s also very dry,” Mr Blazak said.
Winds are set to get up to 35 kilometres an hour over the next few days as well, which in combination with low humidity will make for a pretty fresh feel on the skin.
The systems are expected to move further north mid-next week.
So… rug up!
