The AFL is trying to frantically rejig its draw for Round 5 with the blockbuster clash between Richmond and West Coast on the Gold Coast in doubt because of coronavirus concerns.
Queensland Health officials are reportedly reluctant to let the Richmond team into the state for Thursday night’s clash at Metricon Stadium.
It follows a huge spike in COVID-19 cases in Victoria over the last week.

According to AFL.com.au, league bosses are preparing for the Sydney Swans to head to the Gold Coast this weekend to take on West Coast instead.
The Swans were due to play Melbourne, who would face off with the Tigers if their Gold Coast fixture is postponed.
The St Kilda-Carlton clash could also be brought forward from Saturday to Thursday night.
It’s not clear whether the Gold Coast Suns’ clash with the Cats in Geelong will also be affected.
