TWO Gold Coast men with alleged links to the Comanchero’s OMCG have been charged with trafficking cocaine.
The pair, aged 24 and 29, were arrested on Thursday after officers from the State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Gangs Group executed a number of search warrants on the Gold Coast.
They were charged with a total of 12 offences including trafficking a dangerous drug, as well as one count each of recruiting others to become participants in a criminal organisation.

“Officers allege both men were in a criminal organisation “which adds a circumstance of aggravation to the trafficking charges,” police said in a statement.
The men were held in custody overnight and are to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
“These arrests were part of the ongoing and relentless pursuit of criminal gangs, their associates and their criminal activity,” Detective Superintendent Roger Lowe of the Organised Crime Gangs Group said.
