A terrifying ram raid has played out on a Gold Coast street in broad daylight, just metres from a primary school and popular dog park.
Police say a stolen Lexus rammed an unmarked security vehicle at the corner of Kumbari and Musgrave Avenues in Southport around 8.40am on Monday, before three balaclava-clad men, one armed with a gun, got out and threatened the driver.
He had just driven out of the car park of the Musgrave Hills Bowls Club, and was forced to hand over the takings he had collected.

The trio then abandoned the Lexus, instead taking off in a stolen black Jeep.
