A young Gold Coaster has had a taste of the limelight after being brought on stage by an Australian country star during the Gympie Music Muster.
Matthew Hood got to jam with headliner Adam Brand on the weekend, in front of thousands of country music fans.
And he loved every minute of it!

He was one of a bunch of pint-sized talents who got to live out their dream and left with a signed guitar.
Almost 30,000 people enjoyed the dry, mild weather conditions and got their boot scooting boogie down pat, rocking out to Jessica Mauboy who returned to her country roots.
She had the crowd on their feet with her biggest pop hits with a full brass band and even belted out a cover of ‘Better Be Home Soon’ by Crowded House.
Other big acts enjoyed by the crowd were Busby Marou, Brooke McClymont, Travis Collins and Adam Eckersley.
