The Gold Coast is in for another rainy weekend, with up to 60mm forecast to hit the already saturated city.
Voters heading out to the polls across the Coast on Saturday are being warned to pack their umbrellas with up to 40mm on the cards, with the possibility of higher isolated falls.
While on Sunday an additional 20mm is expected to hit, with rain most likely in the morning and afternoon.

A strong wind warning is also currently in place for all Gold Coast waterways until at least Saturday.
Light showers are expected to continue well into next week.
