MANAGER of Gold Coast Cabs Contact Centre, Kim Setiu will tomorrow night embark on the world-renowned Ice Challenge to raise money for cancer research.
The Ice Water Challenge or otherwise know as the Ice Bucket Challenge, involves a participant having several buckets of ice cold water tipped over their head, while their feet are submerged in water.
The shock felt is supposed to mimic the sensation that cancer patients feel when going through intense Chemotherapy treatment.

Having surpassed her goal of $500, Kim is excited to be raising money for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, a cause very close to her heart after she lost her mother to cancer ten years ago.
You can head along and watch the ice pouring which will take place in the Gold Coast Cabs Car Park at 11 Millennium Circuit, Helensvale at 5pm on Wednesday August 13.
To cheer her on and participate in the pouring of the icy cold water will be her two young daughters, newly appointed Gold Coast Cabs CEO Gordana Blazevic and a number of friends and colleagues.
