Balaclava-clad man threatens GC servo employee with rifle

An armed robber targeted a service station in Coomera on Thursday morning.

The man walked into the Brygon Creek Drive business with a rifle at around 1.30am and demanded money and cigarettes.

The 23-year-old man on duty gave him some cash from the till and cigarettes.


The armed robber left and was last seen running south along Brygon Creek Drive.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 170 cm tall with an average build and spoke with an Australian accent.

He was wearing a blue hoody sweat shirt, dark jeans, fingerless gloves and running shoes.

Investigations are continuing.
