Gold Coast Council is ramping up the attack on mosquitoes this weekend, taking to the air.
Due to all the recent rain, the pests are multiplying like crazy, and spraying efforts aren’t quite keeping up.
Crews will now take to the skies with aerial spraying with the hopes of getting on top of the problem.

Several Gold Coast suburbs can expect to see crews spraying between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm today, weather permitting.
They’ll be targeting saltmarsh and mangrove areas in Arundel, Coombabah, Coomera Waters, Pimpama, Jacobs Well, Rocky Point, Helensvale, Hope Island, Oyster Cove, Coombabah Lakelands and the Bay Islands.
