A man and woman from the Gold Coast have been charged after allegedly stealing several luxury cars from dealerships across Sydney.
NSW Police have been told the 33-year-old Southport man posed as a potential buyer at a number of dealerships across Sydney’s Inner West and north west over the past month.
It will be alleged be took the car for a test drive but never came back.

Following an extensive investigation, officers arrested the man and a 21-year-old, from Miami, at a shopping centre in Blacktown yesterday afternoon.
Police searched the pair, allegedly uncovering several car keys in the woman’s handbag.
A stolen Audi RS3, taken from Ryde on December 30, was recovered in the shopping centre carpark.
Another search in Kograh uncovered a BMW M3, stolen from Parramatta on Monday.
The Southport man has since been charged with take and drive conveyance without consent of owner, possess identity to commit indictable offence, goods in personal custody suspected being stolen, and three outstanding warrants.
The Miami woman was charged with goods in personal custody suspected being stolen.
They were both refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
