Business Breakfast: Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association Junior Development Program
2019 is the 32nd year of our Junior Development Program (JDP) and to celebrate this milestone there will be a Business Breakfast in conjunction with our Junior Development Camp at the Tallebudgera Leisure Centre on the 3rd of July.
Our Business Breakfast will be hosted by Dual Paralympian Simon Patmore and will include members of JDP Alumni. The panel will include Karni Liddell, who represented Australia at the 1996 and 2000 Paralympics in Swimming, as well as Josh Nicholson who is a current member of the Queensland Cyclones Wheelchair Rugby team and a member of the Australian Squad seeking selection for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
Also joining the panel is Emerging Rollers Squad member Dylan Child, and QLD Wheelchair representative and current JDP member Cooper Whitestyles.
The Business Breakfast will be presented at the Tallebudgera Surf Club on the Gold Coast Highway next door to the leisure centre.
To complete the morning, we will also invite you to travel next door (5 minute walk) to the camp and watch this year’s participants on the final day of the camp.
Tickets are $100 and this is a fundraising event for Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association (SWDA). Book online here.
The Gallery at the Tallebudgera Surf Club offers an idyllic open-air venue overlooking the Pacific Ocean where you will enjoy a delightful breakfast and hear real stories of these amazing people .
You will be informed how the support of the JDP allowed Alumni members the opportunity to firstly participate in elite disability sport and then to go on to compete at the highest level.
* This event is for those who want to know more about the lives of successful Queenslanders and how their hard work and dedication has resulted in their success.
