Gold Coast Astronomy – Total Lunar Eclipse 2021

Join Beechmont’s own passionate Amateur Astronomer John McDonald this Wednesday night to observes the Total Lunar Eclipse of 2021.
This year marks a rare opportunity as the eclipse takes place only a few hours after the Moon reaches perigee, the closest point to Earth on its orbit, making it a Super Blood Moon.
Gold Coast Astronomy offers you the opportunity to memorialise your experience with a chance to capture, with your mobile, your very own snaps of the eclipse through one of our telescopes.
Tickets: Gold coin donation per adult upon entry.
Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate (with biscuits +$0.50) will be available throughout the night for $2.
