Gold Gourmet Foods, a family-owned Gold Coast business passionate about making great quality gourmet food products, are opening their Molendinar premises this Saturday giving the public the opportunity to purchase their range directly for one day only.
Gold Gourmet Foods has been operating on the Gold Coast for 37 years manufacturing garlic, ginger, chilli, mayonnaise, sauces and dressings and sell to food service distributors, restaurants and other food manufacturers who create products sold in supermarkets.
COVID-19 has created a temporary shift in the way they do business. Elements of the business are thriving due to higher supermarket demand, while their restaurant and food service customers have all but closed for the duration of social distancing.
Gold Gourmet Foods have mayonnaise, sauce and dressing products that were manufactured fresh just before the Government announced the change to takeaway restaurant trading only, and with more people cooking at home, the local, family-owned business has decided to open to the public for the first time to sell their mayonnaise, sauces and dressings direct to public, for one day only.
Over the next few weeks, Gold Gourmet Foods will be sharing recipes on their Facebook page to try at home and it’s a wonderful chance for locals to try their premium products, and use them in their home cooking.
There will be a large range of products on sale which will last in the fridge for around three months.
Gold Gourmet Foods are open this Saturday, 2 May from 8am – Midday at 9 Expansion Street Molendinar.
There will be contactless, drive-through purchasing, with 1kg bottles selling for just $7. There’s no limit on purchases.
