Hero Day for Slater
Throughout May, Musgrave Hill State School are raising money for brain cancer on behalf of Prep student, Slater.
Slater is a courageous 6-year-old boy, who is an absolute ray of sunshine. He has spent most of his life in hospital, fighting a battle no one should ever have to endure.
At 17-months-old, Slater was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer known as Posterior Fossa Ependymoma (Cerebellum and Brain Stem).
During the month of May, we will be fundraising and generating awareness around Brain Cancer research in support of Slater and his family.
So we are calling on the Gold Coast community for your help!
We are seeking ‘HEROES’ within our community to attend a parade as part of HERO DAY FOR SLATER at Musgrave Hill SS on Friday May 28th at 9am (i.e. sporting stars, emergency service personnel, authors, etc.).
We are also seeking donations…
