MICHAEL JACKSON HISTORY SHOW SET TO LIGHT UP THE STAR THEATRE STAGE AGAIN THIS FESTIVE SEASON
The Star Gold Coast is again expecting an influx of white gloves and red leather jackets through its doors when world-class stage show The Michael Jackson HIStory Show returns to the theatre this 27, 28 and 31 December.
The show last visited in December 2017 when it topped off a busy, landmark year for The Star Gold Coast in which its rebrand from Conrad Jupiters was launched and construction began on its first multi-million dollar residential tower.
With three performances scheduled during prime holiday period, including a special New Year’s Eve show, and an open dancefloor available to all ticketholders, producers are expecting sell-out crowds and a fun, celebratory atmosphere.
“It’s hard to come to this show and not have a good time! Especially during the holidays when everyone is already in a festive mood. The dancefloor will be full all night, that’s a given,” says Gold-Coast based Producer and Director John Van Grinsven.
The long-running production, which has been touring the world since 2011, boasts a set list laden with MJ’s biggest hits from his solo career and his days with the Jackson 5, including Billie Jean, Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Black or White, Man in the Mirror, Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough, ABC and more.
Star of the show, South African singer Dantanio, will be accompanied by a handpicked international six-piece band, back-up dancers and a phenomenal lighting and FX team that will make for a night of topnotch entertainment.
