National Pyjama Day 2020
The comfiest day of the year is coming!
Gather your friends, family, students or co-workers – it’s time to chuck on your PJs & raise money to support kids in foster care.
National Pyjama Day is an annual event that aims to raise awareness and funds for The Pyjama Foundation’s Love of Learning Program, which empowers children in care to reach their full potential.
The process is easy: simply register your interest to receive your FREE Pyjama Day host kit. Your host kit will be filled with everything you need to plan, promote and organise your event. Then set up your fundraising page, drum up some donations, and get to planning your event.
Events are totally flexible and can be run anytime throughout the months of July to September. You don’t even have to hold a physical event – once you’ve set up your fundraising page, the world is your oyster! Do something bold in your PJs and ask your friends to donate – it’s as easy at that!
Make sure you take some pics of your event and tag us using the hashtag #nationalpyjamaday and #doitinyourPJs to be featured on our page and in our Annual Report!
Children in care have the lowest education outcomes nationally. 92% of children in care will be below the average reading level by the time they are 7 years old. 75% of children in care will not complete high school. 35% of children in care end up in the juvenile system. We need YOUR help to reduce these statistics.
And by supporting National Pyjama Day, you will be doing just that! Whether you’re wearing your tracky-dacks, jimmy-jams, onesies, snuggies, or ugg boots, we guarantee this will be your comfiest fundraising adventure yet!
