Take your marks Gold Coast…the Olympics are here!

Be part of history this Wednesday for the 2032 Olympic Announcement at Kurrawa Park, 6pm, followed by fireworks!

Join us in Kurrawa Park from 21 July from 4pm to kick off the live site and be part of history as we cross live to Tokyo at 6pm for the Election of the Host of the Games of the XXXV Olympiad to find out if Brisbane will be named as host city for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Moyra & Baggs from 1029 Hot Tomato will broadcast their drive show live from 3pm – 7pm and Big K will take over and broadcast his Fat Nights show from 7pm.

The live site will play host to:
Free activities for the kids from 4pm on 21 July to kick off the live site and announcement. There will be kids’ activities, sporting competitions, live entertainment, beach volleyball and more throughout the evening! There will be big screen action later on when the Matildas play their first game against the Football Ferns.

Watch all the live action from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on the big screen for the duration of the event from 21 July to 8 August and soak up the atmosphere with kids’ sporting activities, athlete interviews, and more!
