PTSD Awareness Walk
June is actually the global month for recognition of PTSD. We are hosting a walk for awareness of PTSD this Saturday 29th of June at the Broadwater Parklands in Southport.
We are all not for profit charity offering support for those or people who know people with PTSD.
Commencing at the Broadwater Parklands, Southport at 8.45am on Saturday 29 June, participants will walk towards the Southport Yacht Club and finish at Anzac Memorial Park in the Broadwater Parklands. There are three different lengths of walk catering for all age groups and disabilities.
On the day there are also 18 marquees that will be set up that support PTSD and our event. We will be holding this event yearly on the Gold Coast and other states throughout the month of June. This is the first time we are doing the walk on the Gold Coast but we plan to be doing it every year moving forward.
So far we are expecting over 500 people to be attending the walk that have already registered.
Register via our website arc4ptsd.org.au or just show up on the day.
We are very excited as this is our first time on the Gold Coast doing an awareness walk.
