Watch the Paralympics Live at Kurrawa Park presented by City of Gold Coast
The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games are here!
Join us daily from 8am to 8pm Tuesday 24 August through to Sunday 5 September in Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach to watch all the live action from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games on the big screen, for free!
Pack a picnic rug or chair and come on down and cheer on our Aussie athletes at the Gold Coast Paralympic Live Site!
Free all abilities sporting activations will be hosted by GeckoSports from 9am to 3pm on the weekends of 28-29 August and 4-5 September. Sports will include Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Athletics high jump, Fun relay races, Baseball (pitching target game), Badminton and Rugby.
Broadbeach has an array of delicious family-friendly restaurants on offer, visit the Tower 28 Café at Kurrawa Surf Club, Oracle Boulevard or Oasis Shopping Centre.
179 athletes will represent Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games – this is our largest contingent to date. Australia’s team comprises of 101 males and 78 females, ranges in age from 15 to 60 and includes 84 athletes who will attend their first Paralympic Games.
Australia will compete in 18 of the 22 sports on the program for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
