Women Like Us Surfers Paradise

Women Like Us return to Surfers Paradise – with a new women – and she’s just like us! This show features the fabulous Kat Davidson and Mandy Nolan – and proceeds go to The Pink Ribbon Foundation!

Stand up comedians Mandy Nolan and Katrina Davidson join forces in Women Like Us to deliver two hours of rapid fire, sharp, honest, sometimes self deprecating, somewhat irreverent stand up comedy for audiences who love their humour straight from the lip.

Mandy Nolan and her comedy partner Ellen Briggs created Women Like Us 4 years ago to fill the gap of “relatable and real” stand up comedy by women in the country.  Since then, they have performed all over Australia – doing over 140 shows to thousands and thousands of people, earning themselves three 5 stars reviews along the way and publishing a book to rave reviews along the way.

The brand has become so popular that they have decided to expand their performers and for this show, they introduce Kat Davidson from Brisbane.  Seeing Kat on stage is like visiting an old friend you haven’t met yet. She’s shared the stage with the world’s best comics (Stephen K Amos, Steven Wright, Dave Hughes to shamelessly name drop a few), tamed a shed full of drunk miners, kept a 17 year marriage off the rocks and is currently being parented by her five year old.

Equally at home in a corporate venue or a room full of hens and bucks, Kat brings a fresh and intelligent view to her comedy. She tackles relationships, observations and random events with equal passion and her unique storytelling ability takes her audience along with her for the ride.

She can be heard regularly across Queensland ABC radio and has headlined the best clubs in Australia and Canada. She is also the co-producer of the highly successful Ladies Comedy Nights in Brisbane, can regularly be found at sea performing for huge crowds on P&O Cruise ships and enjoyed sell out seasons of her original show Untidy at the 2012 Brisbane Comedy Festival and husband and wife co-production He Said, She Said (with husband Stav Davidson) at Wonderland Festival, venues around Brisbane and P&O ships all over the country.

For this show Kat and Mandy team up for 2 hours of hilarious stand up comedy, and $5 from every ticket sold will be going to the Pink Ribbon Association for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
