Firefighters have spent the night battling a ferocious fire at a factory on the northern Gold Coast.
It broke out at a cleaning product facility along Lahrs Road around 8.00 pm, calling 15 different crews to the scene.
It’s taken several hours for the flames to be contained, but there are still four crews on the scene this morning to monitor the area.

Smoke was affecting the M1 for much of the night between exits 38 and 41, causing some trouble for motorists in the area.
Part of the rebuilding has now collapsed.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known but is expected to be investigated later today.
No injuries have been reported.
