Gold Coast flight an exposure site forcing passengers to isolate

A flight from Cairns to the Gold Coast has been identified as an exposure site forcing dozens of people into isolation.

An infected person is understood to have been on Jetstar Flight JQ967 on Friday 10 December.

The flight departed Cairns just after 10.30 on Friday morning, landing on the Gold Coast at around 12.40pm.

Queensland Health has listed rows 20 to 24 as close contacts.

That means passengers sitting in those rows need to get tested and isolate for 14 days.

All other passengers on the flight are considered casual contacts.

Those passengers will need to get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.
