Gold Coast gardeners have just a few more days to show off their green-thumb talents to the city through the 2016 Mayor’s Garden Competition.
The competition is about inspiring locals to get their hands dirty, enjoy the outdoors with family and friends, and beautify their gardens.
At the same time, you’ll be helping the city to look even better to the world in the lead-up to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Avid gardeners who are over 18 just have to post up to three photos of their garden on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #MyGCgarden2016.
There are two categories to enter – ‘Small garden’ for those gardeners who are working with an area smaller than three square metres; and ‘Residential garden’ for the larger yards.
The top three winners in each category will receive a Bunnings voucher.
For more information on how to enter, visit the City of Gold Coast’s website.
