Glitter Festival – The Gold Coast’s first ever gay, lesbian, bi, trans, intersex and queer festival – will burst onto the glitter strip from Monday!
An entire week of sparkly events are planned to celebrate and honour the Gold Coast’s LGBTIQAP+ community and bring the entire Gold Coast together.

From comedy to cabaret, visual arts to long lunches, motion pictures and a race day at the Turf Club; Glitter has something for everyone with a mixture of both ticketed and free events.
In addition to shows and performances there are also a number of opportunities for the community to express themselves and genuinely get involved in the fabulous festival.

5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche
Why: You won’t want to see this hilarious, award winning, Off-Broadway smash once, you’ll want to see it twice!
When: 1st and 2nd October
Where: Paradise Showroom at The Arts Centre Gold Coast
Cost: $35 adult, $32 concession
Why: Love the races? Love a good time? Glitter Race Day is the place to be! Canapes all day long, best dressed competitions, live cabaret and more!
When: 3rd October
Where: The Dome – Gold Coast Turf Club
Why: Enjoy a free day out with live on stage performances, 60 market stalls, free activities, youth zone for 15-25’s. Plus watch Priscilla Queen of the Desert under the stars! When: 4th October
