The gym was destroyed in the fire while a real estate agency and a health care business were damaged, police said.

Although it was not immediately clear what sparked the blaze, police on Saturday morning said they were treating it as suspicious.

The area has been declared a crime scene and remains under police guard.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
