Those who registered for Gold Coast Holiday dollars will find out today if they’re one of the lucky ones who managed to score some free cash.
However, it’s not going to be good news for everyone, with thousands of people set to miss out on the vouchers.
A whopping 87,000 people have registered for the tourism vouchers, but only 30,000 are on offer.

The State Government is expected to notify residents who have been selected to receive the vouchers today.
The lottery will be conducted using a random electronic draw and winners will receive their voucher by email and text.
“Voucher recipients will be randomly selected and announced from 16 June 2021,” Destination Gold Coast said.
“If you’re successful in securing one of the vouchers, you’ll receive a text and an email with your Gold Coast Holiday Dollars voucher to redeem at participating operators.”
More than 140 hotels, attractions and experiences across the city are taking part in the scheme, which aims to boost tourism on the Gold Coast.
Those lucky enough to score a voucher will have just over a month to use them.
