Gold Coast seniors are being encouraged to get in quick to avoid missing out on Seniors Week concert tickets.
The annual celebration is on again this month, with the free concert program heading for a sell-out.
Acting Mayor Donna Gates said the City is set to host three concerts at HOTA on the 23 August and urged seniors to register now!

“There are still tickets but I know the three sessions fill up so people planning on attending need to register now,’’ she said.
The concerts are on at 9.30am, 12pm and 2.30pm.
Acting Mayor Gates said Seniors Week was a way to thank all seniors for their active contribution to the community.
“Whether it is through paid work, volunteering, caring for family members or in other ways, the positive impact in our community made by seniors is invaluable,” she said.
Cr Gates encouraged seniors to check out the week-long program with most activities free.

There are currently 83,000 residents over the age of 65, making up over 15 percent of the city’s population.
