Gold Coast man in court over rape in Vic

A Gold Coast man and his two brothers will return to a Victorian Court on Tuesday, accused of gang raping a 14-year-old Geelong schoolgirl last year.

Local Brodie Mark Wild, together with siblings Kevin Andrew and Allan Mark Wild will face the second day of a three-day contested committal hearing.

The trio allegedly raped and assaulted their victim on November 1 2015.

Police say the brothers were at a family reunion and had gone out drinking before they came across the girl and her male friend in a park.

She was reportedly taken away and sexually assaulted several times before being allowed to go back to the park.

So far the Melbourne Magistrates Court has heard that each of the men will face an additional two charges.

The court was closed for much of Monday’s hearing while a child witness gave evidence.
