A Gold Coast man’s been charged after allegedly shooting a boy in New South Wales and assaulting his dad.
The 15-year-old boy was allegedly shot and his 45-year-old father was assaulted at a home along Camelia Way in South Grafton just before 9.00 pm on Saturday, July 10.
The alleged attacker is believed to have fled the scene before police could get there.

Both the man and the teenager have since recovered from their injuries, while an investigation has since tracked the alleged attacker down to the Gold Coast.
The 30-year-old was arrested at a park on Parkvista Circuit around 2.00 pm on Monday by Coomera police over an NSW outstanding arrest warrant.
He was taken to the Southport Watchhouse where NSW detectives then applied for his extradition over the border.
The man was officially taken to Tweed Heads Police Station and charged with shoot at with intent to murder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He’s due to front court again today, where he didn’t apply for bail and was remanded in custody.
The matter will return to Grafton Local Court on September 7.
