Gold Coast man hospitalised with neck and thigh injuries in alleged wounding
Emergency services have rushed to the scene of an alleged wounding in Southport overnight.
Paramedics – including Critical Care and High Acuity Response Unit – attended a private residence on Nerang Street around 10.00pm, where they found a man with serious injuries.
The 28-year-old man had suffered wounds to his neck and thigh.
He is in the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Paramedics called police to the scene as well, they attended and scoured the area before tracking down an 18-year-old Logan woman.
She was arrested at the scene, and has since been charged with one count of wounding.
She’s due to front court on October 14.
