Gold Coast man in court after drug raid

A MAN will front court today, charged with drug offences following a raid on the Gold Coast.

Officers from the city’s Rapid Action Patrol squad stormed the man’s Guineas Creek Road property at Currumbin on Friday.

During a search of the home, police allegedly located methamphetamine, cannabis and acetone.


The 45-year-old Currumbin Waters man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous drug.

He was due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
