A Gold Coast woman has shocked authorities, delivering a blood alcohol reading of 0.48 per cent, nearly ten times the legal limit.
The 42-year-old mother was found passed out in her car in front of a Runaway Bay cafe in October, however intoxication tests have only just come back revealing the mind-blowing reading.
It’s believed it could be a new national record, with the woman’s drivers licence suspended while she awaits to front Southport Magistrates Court in January.
