Gold Coast paramedics kept busy with four separate accidents overnight

ITS been a busy night and morning for paramedics on the Gold Coast, with four separate accidents – most of them involving cars and pedestrians.

The first crash happened just after 10.00pm, when a car and pedestrian collided on Augusta Boulevard at Pimpama.

Paramedics treated two people at the scene before taking them to Gold Coast University Hospital. Queensland Ambulance confirmed they were transported in a stable condition.


Shortly after, emergency services were called to the Helensvale North Off Ramp following reports of a two-vehicle crash just before midnight.

A female in her 50s with ankle pain and a man in his 30s with abdominal pain were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

Just after 2.00am, paramedics rushed to the Gold Coast Highway at Miami after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

A woman was treated at the scene for a suspected pelvic injury before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Early this morning, just before 6.00am, paramedics were called to the intersection of Alexandra Avenue and Old Burleigh Road at Broadbeach after a bike and car collided.

One person was taken with minor injuries to Gold Coast University Hospital.
