Gold Coast police find meth stashed in man’s underpants
Police made a shock discovery after pulling over a suspicious car on the northern Gold Coast at the weekend, finding more than $8000 worth of Methamphetamine concealed in a man’s underpants.
The 32-year-old was busted with the drugs in his undies after officers intercepted the vehicle on Jaiden Way at Coomera just before 8pm on Saturday.
During a search of the car, police also allegedly found a clear liquid suspected of being Fantasy with a street value of $3,000 and a single round of ammunition in a bag.
A man and a woman, both aged 32 from Coomera, were given notices to appear for two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count each of possession of a utensil.
The man was also charged with authority required to possess explosives (ammunition).
Meanwhile, police intercepted a second suspicious vehicle around 10.40pm the same night on Coachwood Drive at Molendinar.
During a search of the car they allegedly found a glass bottle and a plastic plunger bottle suspected of containing liquid Fantasy.

It’s understood the drugs have an estimated street value of $6000.
A 38-year-old man from Hollywell was given a notice to appear for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a utensil.
