WATCH: Gold Coast Police seize stash of stolen bikes, watches

A man has been charged and Police have recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen bikes and watches following a raid on a unit at Miami.

Officers executed a search warrant at the apartment on the Gold Coast Highway this week.

Police allegedly found at least 15 high-end road and mountain bikes and more than two dozen watches.

A small amount of drugs and drug utensils were also found.

A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with multiple offences and fronted court on Monday.

Police believe the items were stolen from a number of homes in the Miami area between April 26 and 27.

The bicycles include S-Works, Cervelo, Giant, Trek and Merida brands and range in value and colour.

The watches seized include G-Shock, Fossil, Pulsar and Michael Hill.

Police are now appealing for the owners of those bikes and watches to come forward.

The items are being stored at Burleigh Heads Police Station.

So many stolen watches fair chance someone could do time for the theft
