A RIVERFRONT mansion, known as Bartinon, has sold for $7.2 million, at Sorrento on the Gold Coast.
RPData records reveal that transport tycoon Douglas Kefford has now sold the Marseille Court property.
Built in the 1980s by finance tycoon Sir Justin Hickey and his wife, Lady (Barbara) Hickey, the seven-bedroom house has previously been the Gold Coast’s most expensive home.

Agent Lucy Cole said Bartinon is one of the Gold Coast’s most amazing homes.
“I can’t talk about the specific details about the current sale but I can talk about the house, which truly is spectacular,” she said.
“The home is a riverfront mansion that sits on 6508 square metres of land with 85m of direct river frontage in one of the best streets in the city.
“The two-storey home has a porte cochere entry, seven bedrooms, a range of different entertainment options including a ballroom and recreational facilities that include an all-weather tennis court, a solar-heated pool and an indoor spa.”
