Gold Coast school fete boasts carnival atmosphere
GOLD COASTERS flocked to the Biggera Waters State School fete on Sunday.
The biennial event is a school council initiative. P&C secretary and mum, Anthea said “We keep getting bigger and better”.
This isn’t your average school fete though.
Through local sponsorship, the state school has been able to put on almost a mini-show with thrill rides, food stalls, market stalls and even a petting zoo.
“We are starting to get a bit of a reputation for putting on a good fete,” Anthea said.
The day was enjoyed by all with perfect weather and the fun lasting from 10am-3pm.
