A Gold Coast school has been the target of a sickening graffiti attack, with a local MP appealing for help to find the culprits.
The vandalism at Labrador State School is believed to have occurred over the weekend, with almost every building at the school defaced.
In photos posted to Facebook by Member for Bonney Sam O’Connor overnight, offensive language and symbols can be seen sprawled across a number of walls and floor, including on a hand-painted diversity and inclusion mural.

“I’ve blurred most of it because it’s absolutely disgusting,” Mr O’Connor said in regards to the graffiti.
“There’s swastikas, c-words, n-words, f-words, the Star of David, satanic worship, derogatory names for our suburb and so many dicks. They even climbed up on the roofs to do some.”
“There is a clear racial and homophobic pattern.”
The local MP says the graffiti attack has made him really angry, and he’s called on the public to help find those responsible.
“Labrador is a fantastic school. We are proud to be a diverse community. This sort of behaviour is not on,” he said.
“Someone must know something about this. Do you live on Imperial Parade or Gordon Street? Did you hear or see anything over the weekend?”
A parent at the school said she was outraged by the vandalism.
“Oh this makes me sick!!! I have kids at this school and I know how much they love their school and the time and effort that’s put in to making the school a beautiful, safe place,” the parent commented.
Thankfully, with the help of the school cleaners and Mr O’Connor, they managed to remove the vile graffiti before students arrived at school on Monday.
