A woman’s been hospitalised after she came off a motorised scooter on the Gold Coast.
It’s understood the woman – in her late teens – lost control of the vehicle on Seaworld Drive in Main Beach around 1.00pm.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, where they treated her briefly for a knee injury.

She was then taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
It comes just two days after the official start of schoolies celebrations.
Despite a number of hospitalisations and arrests over the weekend, police say they’re generally pleased with how the school leavers are behaving.
