Gold Coast Show organisers have issued the call out to young women to apply for the 110th Miss Gold Coast Show Girl Quest.
Gold Coast girls aged 18-26 years old who love our city and want to be an ambassador for one of the largest community events are being encouraged to enter.
Last year’s winner, Kaitlyn Shultz, is urging local women to get involved and sign-up to take part in the quest.“I’ve been given the opportunity to meet such a wide range of people, develop my own personal skills of public speaking and interview etiquette, while also participating in a major community organisation within our region,” Miss Shultz said.
Gold Coast Show Manager, Lavinia Rampino, said the Miss Gold Coast Show Girl Quest is a great platform for women with a passionate community spirit. “It is a great opportunity for young women who want to build their confidence and public profile while supporting their passion,” Ms Rampino said.
Ms Rampino said entrants would enjoy events throughout the Miss Gold Coast Show Girl Quest and will be in the running for over $2500 worth of prizes. The 2016 Miss Gold Coast Show Girl would also be eligible to enter the South East Queensland Regional Show Girl competition in 2017 and if successful go on to compete for State Miss Show Girl Honours at next year’s Ekka.
Women interested in entering the Miss Show Girl Quest have until July 28 to enter, with the winner set to be crowned at a special ceremony on August 11. To enter call the Gold Coast Show office on 07 5504 5587 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
