IT LOOKS so easy when the experts do it, but for one Gold Coast woman, she wasn’t going anywhere near a giant snake that made itself at home in her bedroom.
The Burleigh Heads resident called in local snake catchers Tony and Brooke Harrison.
It wasn’t an easy job, with the couple forced to move a queen sized bed to get to the carpet python, which measured about 1.5metres.

In a live streamed Facebook video, Brooke is seen casually seen reaching for the python and removing it from its cozy spot, while the home owner is heard in the background shrieking “oh you’re kidding!”.

It’s not the only snakey job Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catchers have been called out on this week, with pythons also found in Ashmore, Pimpama, Tamborine, Eagleby and Coomera.
Each of the other snakes were found in outdoor areas, not snuggled under a bed.
But, the experts do warn, the reptiles are known for returning to the same place.
