Southeast Queensland is being warned to expect a soggy start to the week, with plenty of rain on the way.
The Gold Coast alone could see up to 25 millimetres of rain today, with more downpours on the way all the way through to Friday.
The Bureau’s current forecast predicts mostly cloudy conditions for Monday, with a very high chance of showers across the morning and afternoon.

There’s also a slight chance of a possibly severe thunderstorm in the late afternoon and evening.
No official storm warnings have been issued just yet.
