A number of Gold Coast suburbs have landed in the top ten in Queensland for JobKeeper applications.
According to a recent break down of the payments, six Gold Coast suburbs round out the ten.
Surfers Paradise receives the most amount of Job Keeper payments at 2949, closely following Cairns and Brisbane.

While Southport (2439), Nerang and the Hinterland (2420), Burleigh Heads (2283), Ashmore, Arundel and Molendinar (2166) and Broadbeach (2114) also made the cut.
According to the treasury data published by the Courier Mail shows just how hard the Gold Coast has been hit by the coronavirus, with almost the whole of our tourist strip reliant on the JobKeeper payments.
It comes as the federal government prepares to review the JobKeeper package this month, meaning adjustments could be on the way in July.
Otherwise, the payments are due to expire in September. But with borders not likely to reopen until then, concern is building that tourism businesses won’t be able to cope.
The government has already announced that JobKeeper payments to the child care sector will end early next month, as demand in the sector gets back to normal.
