Gold Coast Titan David Fifita to fight charge at judiciary tonight

The Gold Coast Titans are sweating on David Fifita’s meeting with the judiciary tonight, as he tries to fight a high tackle charge.

The young gun could be ruled out for two weeks, if he can’t get a downgrade for the grade two careless high tackle charge, after his hit on Adam Doueihi in the weekend’s clash with the Tigers.

He and the Titans are hoping Fifita will be successful in getting the downgrade, which would mean he’ll be free to face the Panthers in Sunday’s Magic Round clash at Suncorp.

Otherwise, he’ll miss Magic Round and Round 11 against the Bulldogs.

Also after the weekend, Tyron Peachey was charged with dangerous contact.

He’ll face a $1,150 at the judiciary tonight as well.
