Multi-million dollar Titans recruit David Fifita has been questioned by police, over claims he was trespassing at a home on the Gold Coast.
The 20-year-old was arrested by officers near a house at Clear Island Waters early Sunday morning, after the residents of the home allegedly called police.
“Police were called to a Clear Island Waters residence on the Gold Coast around 8am this morning following reports of a man trespassing at the property,” Qld Police said in a statement.

“A 20-year-old man was arrested nearby and transported to Broadbeach Police Station for questioning.”
Police said Fifita was later released without charge, however investigations into the incident are continuing.
It’s understood Fifita had been invited to the home at Clear Island Waters by a woman he knew, but accidentally walked into the wrong room at the property.
A man then phoned police, believing that someone was trespassing.
The Gold Coast Titans released a brief statement overnight, confirming they had been made aware of the incident.
“The Gold Coast Titans have been made aware of an incident involving one of the Club’s players,” the statement said.
“The NRL integrity unit have been notified.
“No further information is available at this point.”
