Gold Coast Titans boosted by return of Brian Kelly and Phillip Sami

The Gold Coast Titans are hoping to continue their winning streak, when they go up against the Melbourne Storm on the Sunshine Coast this week.

They’ll be boosted by the return of centres Brian Kelly and Phillip Sami, after the pair recovered injuries this week.

Kelly had suffered a quad strain, while Sami had hurt his shoulder.

Off the back of a 16-12 win against the Warriors last weekend, it’s hoped the Gold Coast side can bring a similar energy to the clash against the Storm.

The Titans say Kelly and Sami will combine in the centres, joining fullback Corey Thompson and wingers Treymain Spry and Anthony Don in a backline packed with strike power

While, Beau Fermor will return to his preferred position in the back row for his third game alongside Keegan Hipgrave, with captain Jai Arrow locking the scrum.

Prop Jaimin Jolliffe has retained his starting position alongside Moeaki Fotuaika in the front row, with Erin Clark at No.9.

The Titans will take on the Storm at Sunshine Coast Stadium this Friday July 17. Kick off is 6.00pm.
