The Gold Coast Titans will now be down one Club Captain, confirming the departure of Ryan James.
The 29-year-old is now headed down south to the Canberra Raiders, after a decade with the Gold Coast.
Since he’s debut in 2010, he’s played a 144 games, before becoming an important figure off the field while battling a serious knee injury.

As Club Captain, the Titans say the impact he had on the Club and the wider community was significant.
Titans’ CEO Steve Mitchell wishes James and his family well for the future.
“Ryan gave his all on the field, but he has also given just as much off it.
“Not unlike Preston Campbell, Ryan has developed into a community leader helping drive inclusion and social improvement outcomes.
“At this stage of his career, Ryan and his family obviously had to decide what is best for them and that means a fresh start at the Raiders.
“He moves on with our complete support and best wishes,” Mitchell said.
