Gold Coast train delays after man trespassed on tracks and jumped up on train
Gold Coast train lines were briefly suspended this afternoon, after a man had reportedly trespassed on the tracks.
Gold Coast, Beenleigh and Cleveland lines were suspended in both directions, for almost 30 minutes, while emergency services tried to subdue the man.
In footage from Channel Seven, officers can be seen trying to talk the man down off of the front of the train.
Once he disembarks, they work to restrain him quickly.
It’s understood the incident took place near Roma Street station.
Train services have now resumed, though commuters could still experience delays.
